Introducing Konnection

In its pursuit to free us from our own limitations, technology brought a new dependence: electrical power. Tethered to our cables, or anxious about finding one when our batteries run low, we are addicted to the electrons that flow through the copper syringes. What if we could give more meaning to those new chains? "Konnection" answers that question. Instead of hiding it, this sculpture blatantly showcases the cable and gives it another depth. Through a line art, it depicts a couple united under a warm halo, letting the viewer witness a love that is, this time, untethered.
