A learning device to keep your memory sharp
Mostly because I'm a huge nerd, I love learning new words. Hence this little gadget that can be used as a fridge magnet and that displays a new word daily along with its definition and an example. I used e-paper for this, as it can hold an image without consuming any power. The whole thing can last months on a single charge. The words are scrapped from dictionary.com.
Where to go from there?
Some leads to explore would be:
- Better device design, improve global shape and finish
- Develop an app where one could select different types of words (another language, theme-based words, student flashcards, …)
